Since 2006, when Erving voted to create a Town Forest, Mount Grace has worked with the Town to protect Poplar Mountain. Now, the Mountain is in the proposed route of the Tennessee Gas Pipeline.

The historic Gill property formerly owned by Clesson Blake and Ruth Cook has now been permanently protected with a conservation restriction donated to Mount Grace.

Mount Grace is currently seeking volunteers to help monitor properties and hiking trails in several towns, including Gill, Leverett, Northfield, Petersham, Royalston, Wendell, and Winchendon.
